The average audio frequency range is between 20Hz and 20,000 Hz.
Normally expressed human hearing range is 20 to 20,000 Hz. Under ideal laboratory conditions, humans can hear sounds as low as 12 Hz and as high as 28 kHz, but the threshold increases sharply at 15 kHz in adults, corresponding to the final auditory canal of the cochlea. The human hearing system is more sensitive to frequencies between 2,000 and 5,000 Hz. Individual hearing range varies according to the general condition of the human ear and nervous system. The range shrinks over the course of a lifetime, beginning with the decrease in the upper frequency range, usually around the age of eight.Women are less likely than men to lose their hearing. This is due to many social and external factors. For example, people spend more time in noisy places, and this is associated not only with work but also with hobbies and other activities. Women have a sharp hearing loss after menopause. In women, hearing is impaired at low and partial to mid-frequency, and worse, men are more likely to have hearing loss at higher frequencies.
